As anyone who has ever stumbled on to a JFK assassination forum, there are two distinct tribes at war: The Conspiracy Theorists on one side of the Grassy Knoll and Lone Nutters on the other. Inside both camps, but mostly on the Conspiracy Theory side, there are many factional battles flaring and ebbing and flaring again. I hereby disavow and denounce both camps and all of the factional battles. This came to a head for me when I was asked on Face Book if I had "any thoughts on analysis of the forensic evidence and how to achieve a consensus for the counter narrative?" This was from someone who I have an enormous amount of respect for, despite any disagreements we have had now or in the past. The question came in response to my suggestion that we need to keep things as simple as possible, but no simpler - and that means not hanging onto evidence that is not strong because it fits our pet theory and likewise, not throwing out strong evidence simply because it doesn't What is a counter narrative anyway? Sounds a lot like an "alternative fact". I don't want "alternative facts". I want historical accuracy. As for the forensics, they are good for spinning wheels and have been debated for 55 years without consensus. Does anyone really believe consensus is any longer possible? For every "expert" there is a counter "expert" produced... and the dance goes on. And on. And on. What is the point of worrying about things like the ballistics anyway? To prove what? Two shooters? A different location for the shots? To help form yet another theory of who the conspirators were? And who has listened to all of these "experts" apart from the tribes? Sure as hell not the law enforcement officials and agencies that can actually do something about it. I'll leave it to the tribes to battle that out. And may the last tribe standing, declare themselves "the Winner". My aim is to show who did not do it to a 100% certainty. It is then up to the wheels of justice to grind on in pursuit of the real guilty party or parties. And if/when that happens, ReopenKennedyCase.com has no shortage of leads to pass on to them. If Lee Oswald had lived and been found guilty, he would have had appeal rights - and had he stayed alive until 1992 when the Innocence Project began, he would have been eligible for their help because there is evidence that can be DNA tested. Luckily that is the one area of the forensic evidence that the vandals haven't had a chance to sully - which makes it (apart from disinterment of the victims) the only area of forensics still worth a pinch of pig poo in this case. This image from the Darnell film can end the rinse and repeat cycle that the Two Tribes are stuck in. All we need is the original film to be able obtain a clear scan. The finger in the link is pointing at Lee Oswald. A clear scan will prove it is Oswald beyond all doubt.
Until this case is reopened, all else is just White Noise.
